Some people think that throw-ins is only a small thing in football, but there are normally 40-60 throw-ins in a match, and you use 20 minutes on throw-ins and throw-in related situations in every game.

On top of that most teams lose possession of the throw-in in more than 50% of the occasions when their players are marked.
Thomas Gronnemark has been a part of 14 titles in international football, and been winning the Champions League, Premier League, and FA Cup with Liverpool FC. With his “Long, Fast and Clever Throw-in Philosophy” he took Liverpool FC from 18th to 1st on throw-in possession in the Premier League. From 2018-23 Liverpool scored 10-15 goals pr. season after throw-in situations.

Here you will hear about Thomas Journey with the professional clubs, what to focus on when you are coaching your players throw-ins, and how to teach them that in the right order.
Here you will learn how to improve your players throw-ins in training. The focus will be on basic elements like decision making, team space creation, small sided throw-in games. In the end you will see Thomas´ best throw-in drill called “Throw-in interval games”.
This day will give you a solid foundation to start improving your players throw-ins all over the pitch.
